I build clean, appealing, and functional interfaces that achieve results, engage users, and comply with the latest standards. What I truly aspire to do is solve problems creatively. This is not just what I do, it's who I am. I started my career in Visual Communications in the publishing industry, and then the internet happened, so here we are! I paint in code and in color.
Some fun facts about me: I am a serial entreprenuer. I lived in Germany for 5 years. I am really awesome at golf. If presented with three small objects I will likely try to juggle them... and fail. I enjoy photography, I have a love/hate relationship with writing code, but most importantly- I am passionate about my work, I try to be a good ancestor for future generations, and I am the user's biggest advocate, always.
Dana has the intelligence and instinct to understand content, plus the creative ability and the drive to push beyond the ordinary into some extraordinarily effective and creative presentations. Her work at Behavioral Healthcare magazine included cover images, infographics, and layouts that contributed significantly to six ASHPE award-winning articles in a three-year period. She's been a real asset and a wonderful contributor.
Senior Associate, Open Minds
Dana is a very talented graphic designer who is extremely passionate about her work. Her attention to detail is one of the characteristics that really set her apart from the rest, but it's not the main thing that makes her special.
When you ask Dana Shelton for a design she does exactly what you ask, but in addition to your requested design she also brings you at least one more design that she came up with on her own. Most of the time hers winds up going to print over mine so now I just tell her the concept and leave it up to her creativity to blow everyone away.
My advice is to tell her the situational use of the design and the target audience... Then sit back and wait to be impressed.
Senior Strategic Partner at PartsSource and CEO of Wrap It Up Food Truck
Dana Shelton is an excellent graphic designer who understands professional collaboration and idea execution. She is also easy to work with and is receptive to criticism in the effort of producing an effective final product. Perhaps more impressive than Dana's ability to lay out pages is her tasteful approach to multimedia presentations, which are clean and elegant visual designs. Dana's services would be desired by any professional seeking a modern designer with a grasp of the entire graphics skill set.
Internal Communications Specialist at Cleveland Clinic
Dana has a strong focus for her projects. An outside the box thinker, she recognizes unique opportunities for messaging and outreach well ahead of others in the room. More importantly she knows how to execute on those concepts and produce the desired results. One of her most notable accomplishments was a donor awareness/push campaign at the end of 2015 which brought in approximately $250,000 in donations to our capital campaign in just a three month period. Dana always presents herself as an experienced and accomplished professional. Her business ethics and integrity are of the highest standards. She stands accountable for all of her actions and decisions. She is a pleasure to work with. If it’s creativity and results you’re looking for, then without question Dana Shelton should be considered as a solutions provider.
